Bourgogne Rouge 2018
Fanny Sabre
€23,25
Delicate red Burgundy, Pinot Noir at large. Expressive wine full of cheerful summery red fruit and soft spices, full of energy and wonderfully fresh. Best drunk slightly cooled. Soft and elegant finish. The grapes for this wine are sourced from plots around Beaune and Pommard.
Crozes-Hermitage 'Vieilles Vignes' 2018
Domaine du Murinais
€ 20,25
French classic. From the original area of international superstar Syrah: the northern Rhône. It is relatively cool here, resulting in an elegant style of Syrah.
The vines for the Vieilles Vignes are between 30 and 45 years old. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 18 months in used 600 liter oak barrels. This benefits the roundness, flexibility and refinement. A taste full of creamy dark berry fruit, black olives, a pointed spiciness and a cigar box. Considerable length!
